WCED partners with T4 for the Teacher Tech Summit 2022
2 February 2022
The Western Cape Education Department is partnering with T4 for the Teacher Tech Summit 2022.
The online global event on 25 and 26 March 2022 will stream in English with multilingual captions in Arabic, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
T4 wants to provide teachers with a platform to share their expertise and practical experiences using educational technology with a global audience.
The global pandemic has demonstrated the need for schools to adopt and adapt new practices to ensure our children continue to receive a high-quality education.
The Teacher Tech Summit 2022 will bring together a diverse set of communities to build a shared understanding of the potential of technology and how teachers can leverage the various technological innovations to improve learning outcomes.
There will be fireside chats, discussions, debates and expert presentations around themes such as how to create engaging digital content; how to assess using online learning tools; how to ensure learner safety in online learning; planning and scaffolding online learning (digital pedagogies); and using new technologies - VR / AR innovation in the classroom.
Exciting sessions will be presented by teachers around the world. The aim of the Teacher Tech Summit is to promote a peer-to-peer professional development approach.
Like previous T4 events, the Summit is free to attend but you do need to register.
All registered attendees will be invited (via email) to claim a certificate of attendance after the event.
You can register in any of the 5 event languages via the Teacher Tech Summit page (t4.education website).
