SGB series available in three official languages

The Cape Winelands Education District's online series to educate and empower school governing bodies is now available in all three official languages of the Western Cape.
You can binge watch the series in Afrikaans, English and Xhosa on the Teachingconnect channel on YouTube or on Teachingconnect and the Cape Winelands Education District Showcase page on Facebook.
The series was launched in Afrikaans followed by the English version and the first insert in Xhosa recently.
The presenters are Jeanie Harker, Yvette Ehrenreich and Linda Ntlombeni.
The videos in the series are between one and two minutes long and cover the operational elements of governing body members’ responsibilities. The videos also provide direction around the Iegislative framework that guides their work.
