Service Excellence Awards

The annual Service Excellence Awards (SEA) is back, and you are encouraged to submit your nominations by 22 December 2023.
The Western Cape Government hosts the Service Excellence Awards annually to recognise and reward excellence in the Public Sector, promote a citizen centric culture, and entrench professionalism. The awards also promote the sharing of best practices, learning, and gauging citizens’ satisfaction towards government performance.
This year, we welcome a new category – Best Red-Tape Reduction/Ease of Doing Business Project. There are now 13 categories (Individual, Team, Citizen, and Municipality) that aim to acknowledge service delivery excellence by citizens and municipalities.

The web-based entry form is accessible via the WCG Website or directly on the SEA website.
Entry forms must be filled in correctly and evidence should be submitted to support the entry. The WCG Department’s nominated contact person will receive all entries via the system.
