Rugby hero Cheslin Kolbe surprises his alma mater

“Cheslin-mania” hit Brackenfell High School when Cheslin Kolbe and his dad, Andrew Kolbe, visited the school a day before he left SA for his French club, Toulouse.
Not only did he inspire the learners with his heartfelt message, but he and his dad shared a few memories with his old rugby coach, Petri Stofberg and the Principal, Jannie Muller.
Kolbe said he was very grateful to the school for offering him a bursary to attend the school and giving him opportunities to do well. He said the school played a huge role in his career. He encouraged learners to do their best, believe in themselves and to study hard and put in the extra effort.
Kolbe said winning the Rugby World Cup was the highlight of his career and it was an honour to share the experience with the learners at the school.
