New tradition at
Panorama Primary
School promotes the
WCED mantra

Panorama Primary School always tries to find and implement new opportunities or customs to make a valuable and lasting impression on learners.

A Bell of Commitment was recently erected in the school’s front garden.

Every new learner starting his or her school career in Grade 1 at Panorama PS will enter the school grounds for the first time by ringing the bell once.

By implication, the learner promises to enter Panorama to learn. Panorama PS teaching staff, in turn, commits to ensure that every child will receive the necessary learning opportunities and support in order to acquire the required knowledge and skills.

The school will equip learners to live the core values of the school, namely : respect, loyalty, caring, fairness, responsibility and reliability.

At the end of Grade 7, every learner will leave the school building by ringing the bell twice. This implies that the learners leave the school, committed to use the acquired knowledge and values that they have learned at school, to serve.
