MCED ends Term 3 on a high

The Metro Central Education District (MCED) hosted several competitions during the third term which gave teachers and learners an opportunity to showcase their talents and abilities. Their Term 3 programme included the following:

• Paper Jet Challenge for both primary and high schools
• Spelling Bee Competition for Grades 4 to 6
• Book Display Challenge for Grades 4 to 7
• Essay Writing Competition aligned to the Term 3 Language assessment task for Grades 4 to 7 in Afrikaans, English and Xhosa
• Science Experiment Competition for primary and high schools
• Coding and Robotics Exhibition for schools that form part of the pilot schools project

“Congratulations to our learners and teachers for their achievements in other competitions including Growsmart, the National Teaching Awards, and the MathsArt competition, to mention but a few.
