In honour of Woman’s Month, Metro Central’s Specialised Learner and Educator Support (SLES) Component organized self-defence classes for Starling Primary`s Grade 7 girls.

“Our girls learnt self-defence techniques and skills to better protect themselves from any form of threat,” said Principal Raj Rajkumar.

“They feel empowered and are now ready to take on anybody who will invade their space and privacy. So watch out - Karate Kids are at Starling Primary School!”, he said.

This is a great initiative by our Metro Central colleagues – an engaging and active way to highlight learner safety and the equipping of valuable self-defence skills.
