Deadline to enter World’s Best School competition fast approaching

2 February 2022

Schools only have until 01 March 2022 to enter the World’s Best School Prizes competition.

The competition is a great opportunity to showcase the brilliance that happens in your school and inspire schools around the world.

Five schools will each win $50 000 for innovation, community collaboration, supporting healthy lives, overcoming adversity and environmental action.

Schools that plan to enter will find tips and advice for each prize category from teachers and experts on the World’s Best School Prizes YouTube channel, at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLolEXY7UNvljgiEvhYcitqLBqCHAbobAq.

The competition was launched last year by T4 Education, a UK-based organisation committed to improve education all around the world.

Vikas Pota, the Founder of T4 Education, said the best schools create a ripple of change that spreads from schools to society, making both stronger. “Because strong schools make strong societies.”

The competition is open to all legally registered schools teaching children in compulsory schooling, from early childhood development, primary and secondary schools.

Schools can apply for more than one prize category.

Applications close on 01 March 2022 and the top ten finalists for each prize category will be announced in June 2022. The top three finalists for each category will be subjected to a public advisory vote and judging academy voting in September. The winners will be announced during World Education Week in October.
