Purpose:

To develop and manage education research, information systems, knowledge management services, Quality Assurance and coordinate ICT.

Functions:

• Plan, manage and co-ordinate education research.
• Coordinate the departmental policy development process.
• Develop and manage education knowledge, information, record systems and coordinate ICT.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of education delivery at all levels and areas of the education system.
