Tembaletu School athletes shine in mini-tournament

Learners from Tembaletu School excelled at a mini-tournament for people with disabilities held in Gugulethu recently.

The event was hosted by the Gugulethu Sports Council and saw more than 100 particpants from Nompumelelo Special School, Siviwe Schools of Skills, Tembaletu School, Vukuhambe and Nontuthuzelo Workshops compete in netball, five-a-side soccer, cricket, chess and table tennis.

Learners from Tembaletu won gold medals in table tennis and chess. They also participated in soccer and netball.
