Nomzamo Primary School 2022 Prefects: The year of learning

Nomzamo Primary School in Strand is developing leadership in learners through their prefect program.
The school’s prefects are collaborating with educators, and learners to create a conducive environment for learning. They promote discipline, responsibility, and teamwork. Through this program learners, including prefects, are groomed to become responsible, leading citizens in the near future.
At Nomzamo Primary, we develop mentoring skills and public speaking skills in our learning. The program promotes inclusive learning between educators and learners, therefore the prefects are given a platform to motivate peers on how to take care of their learning environment, respect, values, respect, responsibility, cleanliness, and maintain their resources in the classroom and outside the classroom. The program motivates all learners to do better in their academics and general well-being.
