Murder of Zameka Mfubesi – School Principal of Umyezo WamaApile High School in Grabouw

WESTERN CAPE – If you know or saw the suspects who shot, or are behind the shooting of, Zameka Mfubesi, who was driving on the Grabouw N2 intersection junction on the 18th September 2020, around 14h00, kindly establish contact with the Western Cape Provincial Organised Crime Unit on 10111.
A reward of R30 000 is offered for any information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of suspects. Minister Debbie Schäfer and the WCED have agreed to contribute R20 000 to the reward, while Ms Mfubesi’s family is contributing the remainder.
Ms Mfubesi’s death came as a great shock, and is a profound loss to her family, school community and the WCED, and members of the public are urged to come forward to assist in bringing the perpetrators to justice. All information provided and received will be treated confidentially.
Please note that the reward will be paid for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator or perpetrators, and will be shared if there is more than one person furnishing such information.
