Metro East Education District supports West Bank High School

Grade 12 learners at West Bank High School received a boost ahead of their final exams.
The learners were the recipients of gift bags donated by staff in the Metro East Education District. The initiative formed part of the district’s Mandela Day activities and aimed to show the learners that the district staff cares for their well-being and wishes them well in the matric examination.
For several months, from August to October, district staff collected items to be included in this gift bag. The gifts included socks, facecloths, toothpaste, writing material, etc.
On 21 October, excited staff members packed the gift bags. These bags were handed over to the learners at the matric valedictory ceremony that took place at the school on Saturday, 22 October 2022.
