Western Cape teachers have excelled at the 24th National Teaching Awards held in Boksburg this morning!
Coinciding with World Teachers’ Day on 5 October each year, the Awards recognise teaching excellence across the county. We are delighted that two of our Western Cape teachers were announced as winners, with a further two ranking in the top 3 in their categories.
Our top achieving teachers are:

- Excellence in Special Needs Teaching: Chadwin Bagley, Rusthof School, Rusthof, Strand – 2nd PLACE

We congratulate them on this outstanding achievement, which is a testament to the incredible work these teachers do every day!
As we celebrate World Teachers’ Day today, we thank all of the teachers of the Western Cape:
Nearly 1.2 million children are placed in your care each day, and without you, they would have no chance of a brighter future.
Thank you for everything that you do, every day, for the children of the Western Cape.
