2021 Enrolment process opens soon

Applications for school admissions in 2021 open on Monday, 17 February 2020.
Parents of learners who are starting Grade R, Grade 1 or high school next year, are advised to apply to at least three schools and indicate their order of preference on the system.
Parents are urged to not wait until the last minute to apply for admission as the Western Cape records an increase in learner numbers every year.
Parents must upload copies of the following supporting documents: certified copy of ID/birth certificate; transfer card/letter (previous school); immunisation card / Road to Health chart (Primary schools only); last school report for learners who have been to school; and a study permit issued by the Department of Home Affairs for foreign learners.
Parents have until Tuesday, 17 March 2020 to apply and will be informed of the outcome per email or SMS between 15 and 22 May 2020.
Parents will then be required to confirm acceptance by Friday, 5 June 2020.
It is vitally important for parents to adhere to the dates for school admission to help minimise disruptions at schools at the start of the 2021 academic year.
Early enrolment will enable schools and the department to plan ahead.
Schools have been encouraged to display the enrolment posters provided to them these past two weeks to create awareness around these dates.
