RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION GUIDELINES FOR INSTITUTION-BASED EDUCATORS


1. In line with the vision of the Department in providing quality education, the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) consulted with the Directorate: Legal Services at the Department of the Premier to draft a Practical Guide to the Recruitment and Selection of Educators.
2. This practical guide will assist all stakeholders involved in the recruitment, selection and appointment of institution-based educators.
3. The guide is attached as Annexure A.
4. Kindly communicate this important information to all stakeholders.
