The Council of Education Ministers has given permission for the last day of school attendance for learners in Grades 1 to 11 to be FRIDAY, 05 DECEMBER 2008, provided that this day is the last day on which examinations are written, so that best use may be made of school time. Educators remain at school until TUESDAY, 09 DECEMBER 2008 in order to complete administrative tasks.
