1. An exhibition will be held of school library/resource centre material (including CDs, DVDs, and videos) which has recently been evaluated by the EDULIS Evaluators: Curriculum Resources, and recommended for purchase by schools for their libraries/resource centres:

Venue: EDULIS Seminar Room, 15 Kruskal Avenue, Bellville
Duration of exhibition: 23 April (World Book Day) to 4 May 2007
Visiting times: Mondays to Fridays, 10:30 to 16:00
 

2. The reference works and information resources on exhibition cover a wide range of learning areas. A large variety of picture books and teenage fiction will also be exhibited.
3. The EDULIS Evaluators: Curriculum Resources will be present to answer questions about the above resource material, which should be purchased by schools from their annual Norms and Standards allocation or from school funds.
4. Informal information sessions and presentations on Afrikaans, English and Xhosa fiction works will be held on the following two afternoons: 25 and 26 April 2007, between 15:00 and 16:30.
5. Please ensure that the two attached notices are displayed in a prominent place, and that the teacher(s) in charge of the school library/resource centre, in particular, is(are) informed of the exhibition and the fiction talks.

6. EMDC EXHIBITIONS

A core collection of the EDULIS EXPO will also be exhibited at the various EMDC resource centres and their satellites during February and March 2007. Further details will be communicated by the EMDC resource centre staff concerned:
