The Cape Times Vodacom Environmental Awards recognise the contribution of individuals and organisations to protecting and preserving the rich heritage and resources of our urban and natural environments.

The awards, formerly known as the Cape Times Centenary Awards, have celebrated the work of over 200 individuals, organisations, schools and groups since their inception in 1976.
|

The awards have a strong focus on environmental education and the youth. For this reason, the Cape Times and Vodacom have invited schools to nominate environmental projects or deserving learners involved in environmental work for the awards.

We attach further information, the nomination form and relevant contact details. Schools must submit nominations and supporting documentation to the Cape Times Vodacom Environmental Awards committee by noon on Friday, 28 September 2007.
