14 April 2021

T4 Education, a global education organisation, will be hosting their inaugural Teacher Tech Summit on Saturday, 17 April 2021 to provide teachers with a platform to share their expertise and practical experiences using educational technology.

Vikas Pota, T4 Education Founder, said the summit will help teachers think about how they can better incorporate technology into their teaching.

On their website, T4 Education stated that the global pandemic has demonstrated the need for schools to adopt and adapt new practices to ensure children continue to receive a high-quality education. While teachers have been adapting and sharing their practices informally during the pandemic, the summit will now provide them with a global audience.
Pota said the summit aimed to be a valuable peer to peer learning opportunity. The speakers are teachers who will demonstrate how they have incorporated technology into their teaching and answer questions from participants.

The Teacher Tech Summit will be free to attend and will focus on the following themes:

  • Designing learning for hybrid environments
  • Engaging learners online
  • How to create good digital content
  • Assessing learning online
  • Ensuring no-one is lift behind in online learning.
