ECKED’s T2P Team have Values conversation in style

29 August 2019

ECKED’s Circuit 2 Transform to Perform (T2P) team responsible for entrenching Values in schools, met with 13 schools’ School Change Teams (SCTs) at Ridgeview Primary School at the end of July.

Adorned in their bespoke Values t-shirts, the team immediately showed that they had taken ownership of wanting to live out the values that they had embraced to school communities. From the onset it was clear that they wanted to interact with SCTs in a fun and interactive way with schools. And, according to the team, it worked!

“The workshop was well received and the feedback was very positive,” said one facilitator, “in fact, some SCT’s even requested follow- up training!”

Educational Psychologist, Gaynor Janeke, who was also a facilitator, summarised the event in exactly the way we all should, “We hope that this [conversation] has sparked a renewed thinking about values, and that the values must be brought to life in our schools. We must live it!”
