Agricultural Technical learners attend excellent welding course

Grade 10 Agricultural Technology learners at Augsburg Landbougimnasium in Clanwilliam recently received welding training which will form the foundation of their technical projects for the next three years.
The welding training included Arc welding, Oxy-acetylene welding, MIG welding, TIG welding and Plasma cutting.
Albie Bam from Automation Worx trained the learners.
A teacher from Augsburg, Philip Ferreira, and a teacher from Vredendal Secondary, Martin Jacobs, also attended the course.
Vredendal Secondary started with Grade 10 Agricultural Technology this year and already have 72 learners taking the subject.
Augsburg's workshop was upgraded by the Western Cape Education Department in 2018 and meets all safety standards to offer a course of this standard.
