Association of Retired and Ex-Teachers Western Cape Provincial Minister of Education Cameron Dugmore is calling on all retired and ex-teachers to come together and form an association, to work in a partnership with government in improving education for all our learners. This is in line with government's commitment to work in partnership with all relevant stakeholders who can assist with the reconstruction and development of our country. Provincial Minister Dugmore has asked retired and ex-teachers who are interested in establishing such a forum, to submit their contact details with the Office of the Ministry. He wants to convene a meeting with such stakeholders at a later stage, with a view to form an interim steering committee, and subsequently a long-term constitution, programme and budget. Min Dugmore has asked his Advisor, Archie Lewis, to convene and coordinate this task. All those interested, can submit their names and contact details at telephone number: 021 467 2523, email at bengelbrecht@pgwc.gov.za, or contact Mr Lewis on 082 824 4811.
