Launch of Santam Educational Support Programme 2005 WESTERN CAPE MEC FOR EDUCATION Cameron Dugmore will today launch a special project, aimed at providing special text books for economics and management sciences to 6,000 high schools around the country. The books are sponsored by Santam as part of their Education Programme 2005, and provide practical business examples to learners. The function takes place from 14h00 at the Santam Head Office in Tyger Valley, Auditorium, 1 Sportica Crescent, and will be attended by Executive Heads of Santam, senior officials from the Department of Education, as well as SA Model Minki van der Westhuizen. Ms van der Westhuizen has launched her own Minki Book Project in April last year, sponsored by You/ Huisgenoot and kalahari.net. Her project has benefited more than 450 schools and libraries.
