The Global Youth Awards are about recognising the wonderful work that our youth is doing in their communities and schools. These awards aim to inspire the youth to be of value and to have a positive input in their schools and communities. The awards provide support, experience and personal development, as well as a global network of opportunities, to all the winners.

This minute is an effort to make all schools aware about the importance of the Global Youth Awards.

The Global Youth Awards aim to inspire young people who are passionate about change.

The Global Youth Awards were created in 2012 to provide a platform to recognise and reward the efforts of inspirational young people who are involved in positive impact projects.

Participation is open to qualifying young people aged between ten and 25.

Participants should register online to nominate themselves or nominate others using the link: https://www.roundtable.global/global-youth-awards/. Please note that hardcopy applications will not be accepted.

The deadline for the submission of online applications is 09 November 2018.

Principals, Life Orientation teachers and Teacher Liaison Officers (TLOs) are encouraged to assist learners worthy of nomination to register as soon as possible.
