Assessment of PATs
The 2018 PAT guidelines can be downloaded from the DBE website, using the link: http://bit.ly/2ESvFfM (or access the DBE home page and click on Practical Assessment Tasks and 2018 Grade 10–12 PATs). |

The PAT guidelines must be provided to the relevant subject teachers so that they may use these documents to budget and plan for the implementation of these assessments during the first three terms of 2018. |
3.2 |
Support from the relevant subject advisers and senior curriculum planners will be provided during the course of the year. Schools must, therefore, ensure that the relevant teachers attend the district meetings dealing with assessment and moderation of PATs. |
