LIST OF POEMS FOR GRADE 12 ENGLISH SECOND ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE (SAL): OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2017 AND FEBRUARY/MARCH 2018 NATIONAL SENIOR CERTIFICATE (NSC) EXAMINATIONS


1. At the time of the release of DBE’s Circular E39 of 2016 on the implementation of Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (NSC) literature setworks for all official languages, the titles of the poems for English Second Additional Language (SAL) had not yet been finalised.
2. The titles have now been finalised and are listed below:

3. The poems listed above will be examined during the October/November 2017 and February/March 2018 NSC examinations for English SAL.
4. Principals are kindly requested to bring the contents of this minute to the attention of the teachers concerned.
