Grade 11 Exemplar Question Papers and Exemplar Practical Assessment Tasks (PATs) have been set in technology subjects by the Department Basic Education (DBE). |
| 2. |
Technology subjects that include exemplar question papers and exemplar PATs are:
- Civil Technology
- Mechanical Technology
- Electrical Technology
- Technical Sciences

| 3. |
The exemplar question papers and exemplar PATs provide a standard to schools that teachers can emulate in the development and administration of question papers and PATs in these subjects. |
| 4. |
The exemplar question papers and exemplar PATs must be provided to the relevant subject teachers so that they may use these documents to plan for the implementation of these assessments during 2017. |

The exemplar question papers and exemplar PATs are available on the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) Further Education and Training (FET) assessment website, http://www.wcedcurriculum.westerncape.gov.za, and can be accessed as follows:
- Point to "Assessment Management" and click on "FET Assessment".
- Click on "Downloads" on the left.
- Click on the "Grade 11 exemplar question papers and exemplar PATs" folder.
