In October 2015, the Western Cape Education Department conducted the Grades 3, 6 and 9 Mathematics and Language Systemic Tests. |

The results will be available on the CEMIS from 27 January 2016. Schools are encouraged to access their results as soon as possible so as to incorporate them in their school improvement plans. |

The reports to schools provide the pass rates and average scores for each school, as well as performance in particular areas of language and mathematics. |

The school's results can be accessed on the CEMIS using the following procedure:
- Select the menu item "Assessment" and then "Systemic Test Results 2015".
- On the drop-down menu, select one of the following:
- For Grade 3 results, select "Grade 3 Results 2015".
- For Grade 6 results, select "Grade 6 Results 2015 ".
- For Grade 9 results, select "Grade 9 Results 2015 ".
The results should appear on the screen.
- Should the results not appear, go to the menu bar at the top and select "Tools". Then select "Pop-up Blocker", select "Turn-off Pop-up Blocker" and click.
- Once this has been completed, select one of the grades to view the results.
