Public and independent examination centres are subject to periodic evaluation, which must be undertaken by the Western Cape Education Department (WCED), so that their readiness to conduct the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination can be established. |

Officials from the WCED will contact schools to arrange a date and time for a visit. The visits will be limited to 45 minutes. |

Visits will be conducted from July 2016 to September 2016. |
| 4. |
Principals are kindly requested to cooperate with the officials so that the visits can be short but meaningful. |

Attached is a copy of the instrument that will be used for the evaluation of the examination centres. |
