Language The questions for language are designed to give learners insight into different questions and answers needed for learners to know what is required. The questions engage learner thinking in response to the text at a personal, literal, and inference level. If the inference level appears advanced, then teachers could explain the vocabulary simply but still discuss possible inferences with learners so that they grasp plausible meanings from the text.
