In October 2014, the Western Cape Education Department conducted the Grades 3, 6 and 9 Mathematics and Language Systemic Tests. |

The results will be available on the CEMIS from 20 January 2015. Schools are encouraged to access their results as soon as possible so as to use them in preparing their school improvement plans. |

The reports to schools provide the pass rates and average scores for each school, as well as performance in the different areas of Language and Mathematics. |

The results can be accessed on the CEMIS using the following procedure:
- Select the menu item "Assessment".
- On the drop-down menu, select "Systemic Test Results 2014".
- Choose one of the options below:
- For Grade 3 results, select "Grade 3 Results".
- For Grade 6 results, select "Grade 6 Results".
- For Grade 9 results, select "Grade 9 Results".
The results of your school should appear on the screen.
- Should the results not appear, go to the menu bar at the top and select "Tools". Then select "Pop-up Blocker", select "Turn-off Pop-up Blocker" and click.
- Once this has been completed, select one of the grades to view the results.
