In October 2013, the Western Cape Education Department conducted the Grades 3, 6 and 9 Mathematics and Language Systemic Tests. |

The results will be available on the CEMIS from 17 January 2014. Schools are encouraged to access their results as soon as possible so as to incorporate them in their school improvement plans. |

Please note that the Grade 3 language results will not be available on 17 January 2014, but will be released in February 2014. |

The reports to schools provide the pass rates and average scores for each school, as well as performance in the areas of mathematics and language. |

The school's results can be accessed on the CEMIS using the following procedure:
- Select the menu item "Assessment".
- On the drop-down menu, select one of the following:
- For Grade 3 results, select "Grade 3 Maths Results 2013".
- For Grade 6 results, select "Grade 6 Lang/Maths Results 2013 ".
- For Grade 9 results, select "Grade 9 Lang/Maths Results 2013 ".
The results should appear on the screen.
- Should the results not appear, go to the menu bar at the top and select "Tools". Then select "Pop-up Blocker", select "Turn-off Pop-up Blocker" and click.
- Once this has been completed, select one of the grades to view the results.
