1. In order to ensure greater efficiency in the management of recruitment and selection processes, the number of vacancy bulletins for office-based educators and office-based public service staff has been decided for 2014.
2. There will be four (4) vacancy bulletins for office-based educators for 2014 with an assumption of duty date as the first day of each school term.
3. There will be 11 vacancy bulletins for office-based public service staff with an assumption of duty date as the first day of each month following the date ofapproval of the appointment. Note that the last vacancy bulletin for 2014 for office-based public service staff will be 14 November 2014, however, the shortlisting and interviewing processes will only be finalised during January/February 2015.
4. The attached vacancy bulletins for each respective sector will allow for structured planning.
5. Line managers are urged to keep within the specified time-frames. It is therefore requested that adverts be submitted to the Recruitment and Selection Centre on Wednesdays, at least one week prior to the advertising date.
6. The advertisement submission should be accompanied by the details of all of the panel members, dates for shortlisting and dates for interviews. This will enable the Recruitment and Selection Centre to allocate resources more effectively.
