1. The Employee Health and Wellness Programme consists of Health and Productivity Management by focusing on providing advice on illnesses impacting on performance at work whilst also making us aware of our health profile. In support of the Health Ministry’s drive for HIV/AIDS testing, the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has incorporated its HIV Counselling and Testing (HCT) campaign into its Employee Health and Wellness Day programmes.
2. The broad health assessment for all Head Office employees is scheduled to take place on 21 & 22 May 2014 from 09:00 to 15:30 in conference room 4, 2nd floor, Grand Central Building. Screens last approximately 20 minutes and employees can schedule their visits in consultation with their line managers.
3. Managers should advise employees to call or email the EHW component to register by or before 16 May 2014 to make use of the services. Only registered employees can be accommodated. Line managers are requested to encourage all employees to make use of this free service, whilst ensuring that essential services are not disrupted.
