1. ISebe leMfundo esiSiseko likazwelonke, libambisene kunye neSouth African History Online, licela zonke izikolo ukuba zithathe inxaxheba kwi-2014 National Schools' Oral History Competition lweNkosi Albert Luthuli Young Historians' Award, eyayiqalwe ngo-2005. ISebe leMfundo likazwelonke liceba isiganeko sikazwelonke esiya kwandulelwa lukhuphiswano lwamaphondo olungezihloko ezithile.

2. Kukwayinxalenye yenyathelo leli Sebe eliqhubeka okokoko lokukhuthaza bonke abafundi kuba bayiqonde imbali yaseMzantsi Afrika, kungabi lulwazi nje ngokubanzi lwembali, koko kwakhona bazi ukuqhama kweembali zeendawo abahlala kuzo. 5. Ukhuphiswano lwabafundi

Kuya kufuneka abafundi benze uphando balungiselele inkcazo-ntetho okanye ifilim ebalisa ngokwenzekileyo (documentary film) okanye ividiyo ngesinye sezi zihloko zilandelayo:

5.1 Ubandlululo lwabuchaphazele njani na ubomi babantu yaye baye bahlangabezana njani nale meko abantu

Baya kucelwa abafundi bakhethe umntu omnye okanye usapho olunye kwindawo abahlala kuyo noluthe lwachaphazeleka yinkqubo yobandlululo. Abafundi kufuneka bagxininise kubantu ngabanye okanye kwiintsapho ezibe ngoodlel’ emnyameni nezikwindawo abahlala kuyo. Imithombo yengcaciso ebubungqina nexhasa oku mayisetyenziswe ukungqinisisa ingcaciso eqokelelwe kudliwano-ndlebe.

5.2 Amaqhawe namaqhawekazi angoodlel’ emnyameni endawo endihlala kuyo kwiminyaka engama-20 yokuqala yedemokhrasi

Kwesi sihloko, kuya kufuneka abafundi bavumbulule iibhayografi zamadoda nabafazi eendawo abahlala kuzo abadlala indima ebaluleke gqitha bezincamile bengajonge ziqu zabo kuphuhliso lwabantu basekuhlaleni kule minyaka engama-20 idlulileyo. Kufuneka abafundi bagxininise kuloo madoda nakwabo bafazi kwakungathethwa nto ngabo ukwazisa uluntu, kodwa abazisa utshintsho oluncomekayo kwindawo abahlala kuyo.

5.3 Impumelelo kwinkqubo yezemfundo ukususela ekuzuzuweni kwedemokhrasi ngo-1994

Kufuneka abafundi baqhube udliwano-ndlebe nabanye abafundi abangoogxa babo, abazali nootitshala ngokuba bayibona iphucuka njani na inkqubo yezemfundo kule minyaka ingama-20 yedemokhrasi. Lo gama imingeni ihlala ikho, abafundi kufuneka babhale ngempumelelo egqwesileyo eyenza isiseko sokuqhubela phambili ekuphuculeni inkqubo yezemfundo enobulungisa.


6. Kucelwa niqaphele oku kulandelayo:

  • Le projekthi mayisekelwe kuphando lwezembali yomlomo;
  • Abafundi mabancediswe ekukhetheni abantu abaya kwenza udliwano-ndlebe nabo bakhuthazwe kakhulu ekukhetheni abantu abakwindawo abahlala kuyo;
  • Abafundi mabacetyiswe ukuba baqhube udliwano-ndlebe nabantu ubuncinane aba-3 ukuya kwaba-4;
  • Inkqubo yokugweba iya kulinganiselwa ngokomgangatho wophando;
  • Abafundi bangenza inkcazo-ntetho ngeprojekthi yabo ngalo naluphi na ulwimi kwezaseburhulumenteni; yaye
  • Abafundi mabangenise iphothifoliyo ebonisa lonke uphando lwabo.
7. Iikhrayitheriya - Kuya kulindeleka ukuba abafundi benze izinto zibe MBINI:
7.1 Mabenze inkcazo-ntetho yomlomo okanye bangenise ividiyo ebalisa ngokwenzekileyo (video documentary) yophando lwezembali yomlomo kwiphaneli yabagwebi (akujongwanga ukuba ibe ngumdlalo weqonga okanye isihobe). Mabalungise iphothifoliyo ebhaliweyo ekufuneka ibe nezi zinto zilandelayo:
7.1.1 Iiphothifoliyo mazibonise ubungqina bophando. Abafundi kufuneka benze udliwano-ndlebe nabahlali baloo ndawo kwaye kufuneka bakwazi ukubonisa ubungqina bodliwano-ndlebe, umzekelo, iileta eziya kwabo benze nabo udliwano-ndlebe, iitranskripthi zodliwano-ndlebe okanye okurekhodwe ngetheyiphu, kunye noluhlu lwemibuzo ebuzwe umntu ebekusenziwa udliwano-ndlebe naye kunye neempendulo - nokuba zibhaliwe okanye zirekhodwe ngetheyiphu.
7.1.2 Udliwano-ndlebe lungaqhutywa yaye lurekhodwe ngalo naluphi na ulwimi kwezaseburhulumenteni.
7.1.3 Iiphothifoliyo mazibonise kwakhona ubungqina bokucingisisa kwaye zithathele ingqalelo oku kulandelayo:

  • Abafundi mabacacise ukuba kungani na bekhethe abo bantu benze udliwano-ndlebe nabo, babonise ulwazi olucace gca lwemeko yezembali yalapho loo mntu wayesebenza khona nokuba ingcaciso yodliwano-ndlebe inxulumana njani nemeko yezembali okanye isinceda njani ukuqonda iziganeko ezichazwayo ngokwendlela esibona ngayo.

  • Abafundi mababandakanye izinto ezibonisa ukucingisisa kwabo (reflection) ngabakufundileyo malunga nokuba nako kwabantu ngabantu ukuzisa inguqu eluntwini, kunye noko bakufundileyo bona buqu ngethuba lophando, nangexabiso lomsebenzi wophando lwezembali yomlomo ekusincedeni ukuba siqonde imbali yethu.

  • Kufuneka abafundi babhale yonke imithombo yengcaciso abayisebenzisileyo kwiiphothifoliyo zabo. Mazifakwe neebhibliyografi. Baya kohlwaywa qatha ngesenzo sokunyiba umsebenzi womnye umntu uwenze owakho (plagiarism).
8. Iikhrayitheriya zovavanyo lweeprojekthi zophando ngezembali yomlomo (zilungiswe apha naphaya zakuba zithathwe kwi-NCS FET History Subject Assessment Guidelines):

  • Ukucingisisa okwenzekileyo ekugqibeleni: Ingaba ibe yintoni inzuzo kum mna [mfundi] ngokwenza le projekthi malunga nophuhliso lwam buqu, nolwazi lwam nokuqonda okwakusenzeka ngelo thuba?

9. Ukhuphiswano lootitshala
9.1 Ootitshala bezikolo eziziisekondari ezingenela ukhuphiswano kuya kufuneka benze isicwangciso somsebenzi esibonisa indlela ababecwangcise ngayo nabalungiselela ngayo iprojekthi yezembali yomlomo eklasini.
9.2 Kuya kufuneka ukuba utitshala ngamnye enze inkcazo-ntetho ngephothifoliyo yakhe kwiphaneli yabagwebi kwaye azilungiselele ukubizelwa kwingxoxo yephaneli ngephothifoliyo leyo yakhe.
9.3 Kufuneka ootitshala babandakanye oku kulandelayo kwiphothifoliyo yokhuphiswano:

  • Yaziswa njani iklasi ngokwenziwa kweprojekthi yezembali yomlomo.
  • Abafundi bangenza iiphowusta zeziko lezenkcubeko elilifa lethu.
  • Yeyiphi inkcazo eyanikwa abafundi malunga nokukhetha kunye nokuthetha nabo babeza kubuzwa imibuzo yodliwano-ndlebe, nokulungiselela kunye nokuqhuba udliwano-ndlebe kunye nokusebenzisa udliwano-ndlebe njengobungqina bokufikelela kwizigqibo ngegalelo laloo mntu.
  • Loluphi ungenelelo ngoncedo olwenziwa ngutitshala ukuncedisa abafundi ukuba bayigqibe le projekthi.
  • Yintoni utitshala acinga ukuba abafundi bayizuza ekwenzeni kwabo uphando ngezembali yomlomo.
  • Kungafakwa iintlobo ezahlukeneyo zemizekelo yomsebenzi wabafundi.
10. Inkqubo yokugweba yephondo
10.1 Kufuneka ootitshala bakhethe abafundi babalungiselele imijikelo yokukhiqa abangaphumelelanga (elimination rounds) kwizithili kwakunye nakwiphondo, baqinisekise ukuba bonke abafundi abangenele ukhuphiswano bakhona kwaye balulungele ukhuphiswano lwephondo yaye baqinisekise ukuba kukho izithuthi eziyimfuneko zokuya nokubuya kukhuphiswano ezilungisiweyo.
10.2 Kufuneka abafundi bagqibe ukwenza uphando lwabo, iikhweshine zabo, udliwano-ndlebe neetranskripthi zabo kuselithuba elide ngaphambi kokhuphiswano, baqinisekise ukuba bazenzile iiphothifoliyo zabo ezibubungqina, bazigqibile iinkcazo-ntetho zabo, bayakwazi ukuphendula nayiphi na imibuzo emalunga neeprojekthi zabo nophando lwabo kwaye bayakwazi ukucingisisa nokwabelana ngamava abo.
10.3 Inkqubo yokugweba yephondo ukukhetha abafundi abasi-7 nootitshala aba-3 ukuba bangenele ukhuphiswano lukazwelonke iya kuqhubeka nge-23 Agasti 2014. Ngowe-12 Apreli 2014, kuya kwenziwa umasifundisane wokwandlalela ukwenzela ukuncedisa ootitshala kumalungiselelo abo abafundi abathatha inxaxheba kukhuphiswano. Abanye oomasifundisane bokongezelela ekwenzeni amalungiselelo bootitshala nabafundi baya kulungiselelwa ngabacebisi ngezekharityhulam bezithili zemfundo. Amaxesha neendawo zabo bonke oomasifundisane ziya kudluliswa kubacebisi ngezekharityhulam beeSayensi zezeNtlalo nezeMbali (Social Sciences and History) kwakuba kuqinisekisiwe ngazo.
10.4 ISebe leMfundo esiSiseko likazwelonke liya kuzihlawula iindleko zohambo nezokulala zabafundi nootitshala abathatha inxaxheba ngethuba lokhuphiswano lukazwelonke ePitoli ukuqala nge-20 ukuya kwi-22 Septemba 2014.
