The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) wishes to ensure that all learners will have the required knowledge and skills to prepare them for the world beyond school. |

For this reason, the WCED will be distributing ten copies of the booklet, SUBJECT RELATED CAREERS, to all public ordinary and independent high schools. |

This booklet contains information about the subjects required to pursue specific careers. |

It is expected that copies of this booklet will be placed in the school library so that it is easily accessible to all learners. In the absence of a school library, the booklet becomes the responsibility of the FET Life Orientation teacher who is expected to make it available to learners. |

Should the school not receive the booklets by 1 April 2014, please contact the Life Orientation Curriculum Adviser at the district office. |
