The table, as well as the elaboration on the different tasks, in the attached Annexure A (available only in English and Afrikaans) provides clarity on the programme of formal assessment for Life Sciences in the CAPS for implementation in January 2014. |

The content of this curriculum minute should be read in conjunction with the Life Sciences CAPS, issued by the Department of Basic Education in January 2012. |
