The Western Cape Education Department has reproduced a DVD containing the Siyavula textbooks for Mathematics and Physical Sciences to support Grade 12 teachers and learners. |

Do not print the books for learners; instead, select only the pages required for consolidation/revision purposes. |

Use the e-books as a teaching tool, appropriately integrating them into lessons. A data projector and computer can be effectively utilised for this purpose. |

Copies of the DVD will be sent to district offices, who will distribute them to schools. |

If the DVD has not been received by 13 October 2014, please direct enquiries to the Head: Curriculum Co-ordination and Advice at the district office. |

Principals are kindly requested to bring the content of this minute to the attention of Grade 12 Mathematics and Physical Sciences teachers. |
