The Department of Basic Education (DBE) Circular S8 of 2014 announced that the Grade 12 literature prescribed for 2014 has been prescribed again in 2015. |

The Circular also states that Grade 12 Folklore for African Languages will be implemented in 2015 as procurement is underway and delivery to schools will be finalised by the end of October 2014. |

As stipulated in Circular S13 of 2013, the status quo remains for the prescribed Grade 12 literature for candidates writing the National Senior Certificate examination until November/December 2015 and February/March 2016. |

All outstanding genres for Grade 12 will be implemented in 2016. |
