The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) would like to inform principals of secondary and specialised schools of the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists that will take place during the month of August 2014. |

All learners of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects are invited to submit and enter science projects. |
| 3. |
The Department of Basic Education encourages all STEM learners to participate in this initiative that will be hosted by four (4) Regional Science Fair Directors responsible for these events in the different regions of the Western Cape. Teachers should also encourage learners to participate in this project in order to expose them to the opportunities that these projects provide. |
