Considering the above, the National Senior Certificate (NSC) supplementary examination in February/March 2014 was the last examination to be conducted in terms of the Subject Statements, Learning Programme Guidelines and Subject Assessment Guidelines. |

All repeat candidates and part-time candidates enrolling for the 2014 National Senior Certificate examination will have to change from the National Curriculum Statement Grades 10 - 12 as set out in the Subject Statements, Learning Programme Guidelines and Subject Assessment Guidelines, to the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS) Grades R - 12. |

Examination question papers will not be set in terms of the old Subject Statements, Learning Programme Guidelines and Subject Assessment Guidelines. |

Principals and education district officials are requested to bring the contents of this minute to the attention of the staff, parents and learners. |
