The 2013 Annual National Assessments (ANA) were written by Grades 1 to 6 and 9 learners in ordinary public schools, state funded independent schools and some special schools from 10 to 13 September 2013. |

The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has provided each school with the ANA 2013 report which can be accessed through the Centralised Educational Management Information System (CEMIS) as follows: click on "Assessments" and then scroll down to "ANA 2013 report". This report compares each school’s results with the results of the circuit, the education district and the province. |

Senior Curriculum Planners and Education District officials should also take note that the ANA 2013 report is available on EduInfoSearch under "Numeracy/Literacy Competency Assessment". Select "Annual National Assessments" and then "Results by Grade (Report)" to access the data. |
