1. ISaveyi yaQho ngoNyaka (Annual Survey) yezikolo eziqhelekileyo ifakwe kwigazethi yaye mayinike idatha echanekileyo nengqinisisiweyo ngesikolo esiqhelekileyo ngasinye njengoko kunjalo ngomhla we-5 Matshi 2013, ngakumbi iinkcukacha zabafundi. Kucelwa uqinisekise yaye usayinele oku kulandelayo kwiCEMIS:
1.1 Ukuba abafundi bakumabakala achanekileyo nakwiiklasi zabo ezichanekileyo
1.2 Ukuba kugqityiwe ukufakwa kwengcaciso ngabafundi (abamkelwayo nabakhutshwayo ezikolweni)
1.3 Ukuba lugqityiwe utshintsho kumabakala

2. ISaveyi yaQho ngoNyaka ikwafuna ukuba makuzaliswe iinkcukacha zootitshala nezinye izikrini zokufaka idatha (capture screens) yaye zingqinisiswe kubandakanywa nothotho lwemibuzo nge-ICT esikolweni sakho. Iinkcukanca zootitshala nezikrini zokufaka idatha mazizaliswe ngolu hlobo lulandelayo yaye zisayinelwe ungadlulanga owe-26 Matshi 2013:
2.1 Hlaziya iinkcukacha zootitshala malunga neminyaka yamava, kunye namabakala nezifundo abazifundisayo ngo-2013.
2.2 Zalisa zonke izikrini zokufaka idatha yaye qinisekisa ukuba nezikrini esele zifakwe idatha (pre-populated screens) ziyahlaziywa umz. iifizi zesikolo neetheyibhile zeziseko zophuhliso (infrastructure tables).
2.3 Qhubeka nokulawula inkqubo yokulandelela abafundi (learner tracking) ngokufaka ingcaciso ngabafundi (transferring learners) ngaloo mhla bamkelwa ngawo okanye bemka ngawo kwisikolo sakho.

3. Njengegosa le-EMIS lesikolo, inqununu mayiqinisekise ukuba yonke idatha ingqinisisiwe yaye isayinelwe ngootitshala abenza lo msebenzi wokungqinisisa. Kucelwa nifunde umyalezo okwisikrini kwiphepha lokuqala (front page) leCEMIS ukufumana iinkcukacha ezingaphezulu. Njengoko yonke idatha ifunelwa iinjongo zokubalwa iphicothwe, ukuchaneka kwale ngcaciso kubaluleke gqitha.

4. Idatha yabafundi iya kusetyenziswa ekupheleni kukaFebruwari 2013 ukubhalisa abafundi kwii-Annual National Assessments (ANAs). Ngokunxulumene noku, kucelwa ukuba igqitywe le misebenzi ilandelayo yaye kungqinisiswe idatha ungadlulanga owe-20 Februwari 2013:
4.1 Ingxelo eyodwa yobhaliso lomfundi ebhalisela i-ANA enokuprintwa (special printable learner ANA registration report), inikiwe kwiCEMIS ukwenzela ibe lula inkqubo yokutshekisha ezikolweni. Mazilungiswe iimpazamo, kusetyenziswa iifasilithi zokulungisa iimpazamo ezikwi-CEMIS.
4.2 Ukukhubazeka kwabafundi nako kuyaboniswa kwi-CEMIS. Ukuba imeko yokhubazeko yomfundi kufuneka itshintshwe, kucelwa uqhagamshelane nomququzeleli weSNE wesithili semfundo, noya kuyihlaziya ingcaciso kwiCEMIS ngokungqinelana noku.
4.3 Kucelwa uqaphele ukuba kuza kunyanzeleka ukuba wonke umfundi abenenombolo yesazisi ((ID) number). Faka iinombolo ze-ID ezinikwa ngabazali kwiCEMIS yaye sebenzisa ingxelo yeCEMIS ukuqaphela abafundi abangenazo iinombolo ze-ID. Ukuba umfundi akanaso isazisi (ID), kucelwa uthumele isaziso esibhaliweyo kubazali abachaphazelekayo, esibazisa ukuba kufuneka bafunele umntwana wabo isazisi (ID) kwaye baxelele ukuba baye kwi-ofisi yeMicimbi yezeKhaya ekuloo ndawo bakuyo. Gcina irekhodi yazo zonke izaziso ezilolu hlobo.
