Circular 0019 dated 8 April 2013, provided schools with an electronic version of the National Catalogues of CAPS-approved textbooks for Grades 7 – 9 and Grade 12. |

To assist schools in selecting these textbooks, the WCED, in collaboration with publishers, will be arranging CAPS textbook exhibitions at selected venues in all eight education districts from 13 to 27 May 2013. |

Annexure A consists of a schedule indicating the date, venue and contact person for each exhibition. |

Each exhibition will commence at 15:00 with a presentation on the selecting of appropriate textbooks and ordering online on the CEMIS. Thereafter, teachers will have the opportunity to examine the approved books. |

Schools will be able to order their CAPS approved textbooks for Grades 7 – 9 and Grade 12 via the online ordering facility on the CEMIS from 3 to14 June 2013. |
