The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) has provided all public adult education and training (AET) centres in the Western Cape with a financial management manual to assist them with managing finances. |

Furthermore, the DHET has provided training on financial management to both Head Office and district office officials. |

The AET Subdirectorate has now arranged for this training to be provided to public AET centre governing body members who manage finances. Training will take place in October 2013, and the relevant dates and venues for the education districts are provided in the attached Annexure P. |

Each main centre is required to send three representatives for training, i.e. the centre manager, the governing body chairperson and the governing body treasurer. |
