The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) will issue one Vacancy List in 2013 for institution-based public service staff, focussing on promotion posts. |

The publication date of the Vacancy List, as well as other important dates, are contained in the attached annexure.

Vacant funded posts will be identified on the staff establishment of the WCED and automatically advertised by the department. |
| 4. |
Applications must be submitted in the manner explained in the foreword to each Vacancy List. |

The Vacancy List will be circulated by the WCED's Registry, and will be on the WCED Website at http://wced.school.za/home/home.html. Click on "Vacancies" on the website’s home page. |

This minute must be brought to the attention of all staff. |

The co-operation of all concerned will ensure the successful management of appointments and will be much appreciated. |
