As procuring both FET literature and CAPS aligned textbooks for 2014 in the same financial year places a huge strain on provincial budgets, the DBE has announced that the 2013 Grade 12 lists of prescribed literature for all languages have been prescribed again for the 2014 National Senior Certificate examinations. |

New lists of prescribed literature for FET will be phased in over two years: novels and short stories in 2015, and drama and poetry in 2016. |
