The Annual National Assessments (ANA) were written by Grades 1 to 6 and 9 learners in ordinary public schools and some state funded independent schools from 18 to 21 September 2012. |

The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has provided each school with an ANA report. This report can be accessed through CEMIS as follows: click on "Assessments" and then scroll down to "ANA 2012 report". This report compares each school’s results with the results of the circuit, the education district and the province. |

School principals and education district officials should take note that the ANA 2012 report is available on EduInfoSearch under "Numeracy/Literacy Competency Assessment". Select "Annual National Assessments" and then "Results by Grade (Report)" to access the data. |
