Senior Phase teachers are to be oriented to the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS) in 2013. The course for teachers of Grades 7 to 9 will acquaint them with the CAPS as it applies to the nine Senior Phase subjects. |
2. |
The department recognises that teachers in high schools are more likely to specialise in one or two subjects than the teachers of Grade 7, who often teach a larger number of subjects. |
